Ten percent is enough
Most teams already collect the spatial data they need. Spending even 10% of your time understanding it changes decisions. Our job is to make that 10% cheap: the map, the report, or the pipeline that does the rest.
About · Washington, DC
Geospatial Solutions is a DC-based GIS team. Since 2018 we've helped businesses, governments, and infrastructure teams turn imagery, field data, and location records into maps, datasets, and tools people actually use.
What we believe
Four principles shape how we scope, build, and hand over every project.
Most teams already collect the spatial data they need. Spending even 10% of your time understanding it changes decisions. Our job is to make that 10% cheap: the map, the report, or the pipeline that does the rest.
Every output carries its sources, QA boundaries, and limitations. If a record needs field or authoritative-source verification, we say so instead of smoothing it over.
We lead with live builds you can click through before any large commitment, then pilot on your data with a fixed scope and price.
Workflows run in your cloud on your accounts, with docs and training. ArcGIS or open source, we fit the stack you already run. No black boxes, no lock-in.

See the workWhat we do
The same people who capture and QA the data build the maps, models, and automations on top of it.
Human-verified extraction from street-level, aerial, and LiDAR capture, delivered schema-ready.
Map-first tools built around one decision, from public apps to internal operations views.
Vision and language models over imagery, places, and documents, wired into your workflow.
Scripts, pipelines, and scheduled reporting that replace manual geoprocessing.
Field collection, mobile mapping, and drone capture that feed straight into GIS.
How a project runs
Every engagement is shaped around a concrete deliverable: report, dashboard, map, pipeline, field app, export table, or repeatable QA workflow.
A route, address list, imagery folder, field form, asset layer, or manual GIS workflow.
We turn the data into a map, report, dashboard, extraction queue, or repeatable automation.
Outputs include source notes, QA boundaries, exportable data, and the next decision to make.
You get the workflow, files, documentation, and follow-up support needed to use it in operations.

Thirty minutes with the team, no slides. Bring the workflow, the dataset, or the decision that keeps slipping, and we'll tell you honestly whether and how we can help.
Implementation stack
We choose the stack around the job: browser maps for decision surfaces, spatial databases for reliable data, Python and GIS libraries for analysis, and annotation tools when imagery needs reviewer-ready labels.
